The Social Justice and Peace Commission collaborates with the parish staff to integrate the Gospel and the social teaching of the Catholic Church into the life of Good Shepherd Parish. The commission organizes and supports opportunities for all parishioners to involve themselves in helping people in need. Commission members identify and assess local needs and available resources. They work closely with existing parish and community organizations providing service to those in need. Ministry efforts are rooted in Sacred Scripture and Catholic Social Teaching.
Social Justice & Peace Commission meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 3pm at Most Holy Trinity.
Members: Bonnie Buechs-Chair, Marie Palmer-Secretary, Anne Daly, Cecelia (Cissy) Robinson, Joann Lonsdale, Aurelie & John Wallach, Donna Bilodeau, Gisele Lynes
