David was born and raised in Biddeford and is the son of Robert and Simone Gadbois. He is one of eight children with three brothers and four sisters. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Plymouth State University (summa cum Laude), in Plymouth, NH, and obtained his license as a certified public accountant (CPA) in 1986. He started his career after college as an auditor for Price Waterhouse Coopers, an international big four public accounting firm working in Dallas, TX. David is a senior level financial management professional with 20 plus years of experience in audit, accounting, financial planning and management, through permanent and project consulting positions. Most recently he was director of finance and accounting for Lyle Anderson Development Co., in Scottsdale, AZ, before deciding to return to Maine. David purchased a home in the area and lives in Biddeford. David began his duties in Good Shepherd Parish as someone who wants to make a difference in the Church. In his own words: “It’s a pleasure to be part of Good Shepherd Parish, the Catholic community that has been so important and done so much for so many people over the years. Transition and change are always difficult, but with faith-filled stewardship from all members of the parish, we can have hope for a bright future.”
